LI-4 Hegu: This point lies in the flesh between the thumb and the index finger. Presence of sharp pain on deep pressure confirms the fact that you have hit the right point. Locate the point and then press in gently with the thumb of the opposite hand, placing the fingers underneath the acupoint, against the palm of the hand, for support. Press deeply and perpendicularly into the point, applying sustained pressure or small massage rotations to the acupoint for 30 seconds to a minute.
ST-1 Chengqi: This point lies at the center of a sharp bony margin must beneth the eye. Pressure should be applied on the bone and not on the eye. Stimulate point in a pumping manner for about a minute.
UB-1 Jingming: This point is located on the inner corner of the eye. Press toward the bridge of the nose in upward strokes during 1 minute.
GB-1 Tongziliao: This point is located just near the outer corner of the eye. Stimulate point in a pumping manner for about a minute.
GB-37 Guangming: At the outer aspect of the ankle joint is a prominent bone called the lateral malleolus. Point lies five thumbp-widths vertically above the tip of teh lateral malleolus. Stimulate point in a pumping manner for about a minute.
LV-3 Taichong: This point is located two thumb-widths behind the skin-margin between the first (big) and the second toes. Place the fingers under the foot for support and apply acupressure to the point perpendicularly with the thumb. Take care to press in the hollow between the bones and tendons rather than on the tendons or blood vessels themselves. Use sustained pressure or small rotations. Apply pressure for 30 seconds to 1 minute, breathing evenly.
Ex-1 Yintang: This point is located midway between the two eye-brows. Stimulate point in a pumping manner for about a minute.
