Hangover
LI-4 Hegu – This point lies in the flesh between the thumb and the index finger. Presense of sharp pain on deep pressure confirm the fact that you have hit the right point. Locate the point and then press in gently with thumb of the opposite hand, placing the fingers underneath the acupoint, against the palm of the hand, for support. Press deeply and perpendicularly into the point, applying sustained pressure or small massage rotations to the acupoint for 30 second to 1 minute.
GB-20 Fengchi – Below the occiput, in the hollow between the origins of the sternomastoid and trapezius muscles. Point should be stimulated in a pumping manner for about a minute.
GV-20 Baihui – This point lies on the top of the head, at the center of a vertical line joining the lobes of the two ears. Point should be stimulated in a pumping manner for about a minute.
Extra point Taiyang – In the large depression on the side of the head about one thumb-width away from the end of the eyebrow. Point should be stimulated in a pumping manner for about a minute.
ST-3 Juliao – This point is located at the intersection of the vertical line of the pupil and the horizontal line of the broad part of the nose. Apply firm deep strokes of pressure in upward direction against the bottom edge of the cheekbone about 1 minute.
ST-36 Zusanli – Bend the knee joint by 90°. Now from the lower border of the knee-cap, move three thumb-widths downwards. You will be able to feel a pointed bone at this level. Point is located one finger-width to the outer side of this pointed bone. Apply firm deep strokes of pressure in downward direction during 1 minute.
LV-3 Taichong – This point is located two thumb-widths behind the skin-margin between the first (big) and the second toes. Place the fingers under the foot for support and apply acupressure to the point perpendicularly with the thumb. Take care to press in the hollow between the bones and tendons rather than on the tendons or blood vessels themselves. Use sustained pressure or small rotations. Apply pressure for 30 seconds to 1 minute, breathing evenly.
