Ear Point Appetite Control – This point is located in ear. While looking in a mirror, place your finger on your jaw, in front of your ears. Open and close your mouth a few times until you feel your jaw bone moving underneath your fingers. Put one finger where you feel the most movement of the jaw. Your finger should be right next to a little fleshy protrusion of the ear (not the ear lobe). Grab this part of the ear with your thumb and index fingter and press with steady pressure. Point should be stimulated in a pumping manner for about a minute.

SP-6 Sanyinjiao – At the inner aspect of the ankle joint is a prominent bone. Feel this bone and determine its tip. From the tip, move three thumb-widths upwards. Mark this level. Point lies at this level, just behind the vertical leg-bone. Apply pressure perpendicularly or use small massage rotation to the acupoint for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

ST-36 Zusanli -Bend the knee joint by 90°. Now from the lower border of the knee-cap, move three thumb-widths downward. You will be able to feel a pointed bone at this level. Point is located one finger-width to the outer side of this pointed bone. Apply firm deep strokes of pressure in downward direction during 1 minute.

SP-9 Yinlingquan – Bend the knee by 90°. From the lower border of knee-cap move three thumb-widths downwards. You will be able to feel a pointed bone at this level. From this pointed bone move backward along the inner surface of leg till you can feel the back-border of the leg bone. Point lies just behind this back-border. Point should be stimulated in a pumping manner for about 1 minute.

LI-11 Quichi – This point lies at the outer end of the elbo crease, when elbow is bent at a right angle. Support the elbow in the fingers and palm of the opposite hand. Press in deeply with the thumb for 30 seconds to 1 minute, applying sustained pressure or small massage rotations to the acupoint with relaxed, even breathing.

LV-3 Taichong – This point is located two thumb-widths behind the skin-margin between the first (big) and second toes. Place the fingers under the foot for support and apply acupressure to the point perpendicularly with the thumb. Take care to press in the hollow between the bones and tendons rather than on the tendons or blood vessels themselves. Use sustained pressure or small rotations. Apply pressure for 30 seconds to 1 minute, breathing evenly.
