LI-4 Hegu: This point lies in the flesh between the thumb and the index finger. Presence of sharp pain on deep pressure confirms the fact that you have hit the right point. Attention! This point is contraindicated during pregnancy.
ST-41 Jiexi: This point is located at the center of the front surface of ankle joint. Point should be stimulated in a pumping manner for about a minute.
ST-44 Neiting: This point is located i the skin between the second and the third toes. A mere pinching of skin between the second and the third toe result into stimulation of this point.
KI-3 Taixi: Observe the inner aspect of the ankle. You will see a prominent, pointed bone over here, called the medial maleolus. At the back of the ankle joint is a firm rope-like structure, called the Achille tendon. Point is located midway between the tip of medial maleolus and the Achilles tendon. Place the fingers of the opposite hand behind the ankle for support and locate the point with the thumb. Apply pressure perpendicularly for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, using sustained pressure or small rotations angled slightly upwards towards the shin.
GB-40 Qiuxu: This point lies in a shallow depression just below (and in front of) the later maleolus. Points should be stimulated in a pumping manner for about a minute.
