Shoulder Pain
LI-4 Hegu: This point lies in the flesh between the thumb and the index finger. Presence of sharp pain on deep pressure confirms the fact you have hit the right point. Locate the point and then press in gently with the thumb of the opposite hand, placing the fingers underneath the acupoint, against the palm of the hand, for support. Press deeply and perpendicularly into the point, applying sustained pressure or small massage rotations to the acupoint for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
LI-15 Jianyu: Raise the arm forward. A vertical groove can be seen and felt at the front of the shoulder. Point lies at the center of this groove. Stimulated the point in a pumping manner for a minute.
ST-44 Neiting: This point is located in the skin between the second and the third toes. A mere pinching between the second and the third toe results into stimulation of this point. Stimulated the point in a pumping manner for a minute.
SI-9 Jianzhen: This point lies on the back surface of the shoulder, one thumb-width above the end of the armpit-crease. Stimulated the point in a pumping manner for a minute.
SJ-14 Jianliao: At the back of gteh shoulder, there is a pointed bone. Point is located in the shallow groove on the side of the shoulder, just beside the above-mentioned pointed one. Stimulated the point in a pumping manner for a minute.
