LI-4 Hegu: This point lies in the flesh between the thumb and the index finger. Presence of sharp pain on deep pressure confirms the fact that you have hit the right point. Locate the point and then press in gently with the thumb of the opposite hand, placing the fingers underneath the acupoint, against the palm of the hand, for support. Press deeply and perpendicularly into the point, applying sustained pressure or small massage rotations to the acupoint for 30 seconds to a minute.
HT-6 Yinxi: On the palm draw a vertical line that starts from the skin between the ring and the little fingers. Extend this line onto the forearm too. This point lies on the above mentioned line, half a thumb-width above the wrist-crease. Stimulate point in a pumping manner for about a minute.
HT-7 Shenmen: On the palm draw a vertical line that starts from the skin between the ring and the little fingers. Extend this line onto the forearm too. This point lies at the junction (crossing) of the above-mentioned line and the wrist-crease. Support the wrist with the fingers of the opposite hand and locate the point with the thumb. Apply pressure with the thumb in the direction of the little finger for 30 seconds to a minute. Use sustained pressure or small massage rotations.
PC-6 Neiguan: This point is located at the center of the forearm, two thumb-widths above the wrist-crease. After measuring up the arm, rest the wrist in the fingers of the other hand and use the thumb to locate the point. Apply gently pressure angled slightly downwards towards the palm and middle finger for 30 seconds to a minute.
REN-17 Shanzhong: This point is located on the chest-bone, midway between the two nipples. Locate the point with the middle or index finger and apply pressure gently for 30 seconds to a minute.
Extra Point Bipay: This point lies one thumb-width above the tip of the fold of axilla (arm-pit), with the arm pressed against the side of the body. Point should be stimulated in a pumping manner for about a minute.
