SP-9 Yinlingquan: Bend the knee by 90°. From the lower border of knee-cap move three thumb-width downwards. You will be able to feel a pointed bone at this level. From this pointed bone move backward along the inner surface of leg till you can feel the back-border of the leg bone. Point lies just behind this back-border. Stimulate point in a pumping manner for about a minute.
KI-3 Taixi: Observe the inner aspect of the ankle. You will see a prominent, pointed bone over here, called the medial malleolus. At the back of the ankle joint is a firm rope-like structure, called the Achilles tendon. Point is located midway between the tip of medial malleolus and the Achilles tendon. Place the fingers of the opposite hand behind the ankle for support and locate the point with the thumb. Apply pressure perpendicularly for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, using sustained pressure or small rotations angled slightly upwards towards the shin.
REN-5 Shimen: This point is located two thumb-widths vertically below the navel. Stimulate point in pumping manner for about a minute.
REN-9 Shuifen: This point is located one thumb-width above the navel. Stimulate point in pumping manner for about a minute.
