LI-4 Hegu: This point lies in the flesh between the thumb and the index finger. Presence of sharp pain on deep pressure confirm the fact that you have hit the right point. Locate the point and then press in gently with the thumb of the opposite hand, placing the fingers underneath the acupoint, against the palm of the hand, for support. Press deeply and perpendicularly into the point, applying sustained pressure or small massage rotations to the acupoint for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

ST-44 Neiting: This point is located in the skin between the second and the third toes. A mere pinching of skin between the second and the third toe results into stimulation of this point. Stimulate point in pumping manner for about a minute.

SP-6 Sanyinjiao: At the inner aspect of the ankle joint is a prominent bone. Feel this bone and determine its tip. From this tip, move three thumb-widths upwards. Mark this level. Point lies at this level, just behind the vertical leg-bone. Apply pressure perpendicularly or use small massage rotations to the acupoint for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

PC-6 Neiguan: This point is located at the center of the forearm, two thumb-widths above the wrist-crease. After measuring up the arm, rest the wrist in the fingers of the other hand and use the thumb to locate the point. Apply gentle pressure angled slightly downwards towards the palm and middle finger for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

REN-17 Shanzhong: This point is located on the chest-bone, midway between the two nipples. Locate the point with the middle or index finger and apply pressure gently for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
